Sustainable Finance – A Changing Regulatory Framework for Market Players

Règlement SFDR - Présentation des exigences de niveau 1 et analyse du projet final de RTS

Following the 2016 Paris agreement on climate change and as part of the United Nations 2030 sustainable development program, the European regulator has launched numerous regulatory initiatives related to sustainable finance. The new measures are gradually coming into effect from 2020 to 2022.

They will not only frame so-called sustainable products, but will impact all financial players and products who will have to apply the principle of « comply or explain ».

All players in investment management and services will have to take sustainability risks and ESG criteria into account in their organization, their investment and decision-making processes, their product governance, as well as in all of their publications.

To find your way between adapting existing regulations and adopting new regulations, SAGALINK Consulting has drawn up an inventory of these regulatory developments!
